The International Nepal Fellowship/Nepal (INF/N) is a Christian non-government organization that has been working in the field of health services and development in the Western Regions of Nepal. INF Nepal Dang Community Cluster (IDCC), one of the clusters of INF Nepal, oversees three districts namely, INFN Kapilvastu Branch, Dang Branch & Rolpa Branch.

Work Location: Kapilvastu
Purpose of the Job:
The Projects Officer is responsible for overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of projects activities under Kapilvastu district in consultation with Cluster Manager. The incumbent shall work in coordination with duty bearers, and civil society to uplift the livelihood status of right holders (marginalized farmers and very poor people) through implementing livelihood agro based project. S/he should lead the project team in innovation and introduction of livelihood strategies, entrepreneurships and other possible interventions to enhance resilience capacity of poor and vulnerable of targeted communities. The post holder will work closely with local authorities and other relevant line agencies for better implementation of project.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• B.Sc.AG (in plant science), M.Sc. Ag is preferred.
• At least one year work experience working with farmers for agriculture farming/entrepreneur development and food security or Experience in agronomy and horticulture farming will be preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills both Nepali and English
• Able to deliver agriculture training to farmers
• Good facilitation skills
• Project planning, management, implementing and reporting skills
• Community story writing skills
• Basic knowledge in Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Email)

Work Location: 2 for Rolpa and 1 for Kapilvastu
Purpose of the Job:
To have overall responsibility for carrying out all activities under EDUCATE project of INFN Rolpa district by facilitating community people to form farmer groups, delivering skill and knowledge of agriculture farming, animal husbandry and mobilising them to adopt suitable livelihood strategies through agricultural and livestock and income generation. The incumbent is responsible to support for purchasing of agriculture related instrument, materials, seeds and seedling by recommending necessary quantity, size, weight, and brand. S/he will work in close coordination with local authority, farmer groups, WACC, for drinking water.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Proficiency certificate in agriculture or equivalent (JTA+ intermediate in any discipline) or Bachelor in agriculture fresh will be preferred.
• One year experience in the agricultural field for JT and two years for JTA
• Good oral and written communication skills both Nepali and English
• Project planning, management, implementing and reporting skills
• Good training delivery skill
• Basic knowledge in Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Email)

Work Location: Rolpa
Purpose of the Job:
To have overall responsibility of carrying out all construction work under the project of INFN Rolpa district by designing, estimating of materials and its cost and managing to implement the construction work particularly, small drinking water, irrigation, building, retaining and compound wall etc. The incumbent is responsible to support for purchasing of construction materials by recommending necessary quantity, size, weight, and brand. H/she will work in close coordination with local authority, user groups, DWACC, R/MWACC, for drinking water.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Overseer (Civil) or Civil Engineer fresh
• At least one year work experience working in drinking water, irrigation and building.
• Good oral and written communication skills both Nepali and English
• Surveying and drafting skills
• Working with computer Aided drafting technology
• Project planning, management, implementing and reporting skills
• Basic knowledge in Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Email)
