Job Positions: cc (1): National Office, Sanothimi
Position Purpose (Mission): The Head of Programme (as head of the function at the national level) ensures that strategic initiatives and execution of programmes are aligned with the policies of the organization and that they are running effectively andefficiently.
Key Performance Areas and Main Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the organisation is well represented at all forums concerning the rights of our target group children and young people.
- Establishes a strong monitoring and evaluation system across programmes.
- Ensures a balanced programme on dimensions of Care, Education and Health, through direct services, capacity building and advocacy with the aim of moving towards a loving home and family for every child in our targetgroupat identified locations.
- Facilitates knowledge sharing leading to capacity building of care-givers and co-workers.
- Develops network with external partners for engagements in mutually beneficial programme support activities.
Qualification & Experience:
- Masters’ Degree in any discipline (preferably in Sociology or Development Studies).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the organizations working for children and young people, vulnerable familiesand communities.
- Commitment to youth development and ability to relate tochallenges and issues faced by youths.
- Experience in Networking, Proposal Development, Partnership Development and Advocacy with the Government and other stakeholders.
(1): National Office, Sanothimi
Position Purpose (Mission): National Education Coordinator (NEC) is responsible for the development and sustainability of SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools (SU), including program planning, partnership initiation and management. The NEC handles multiple responsibilities, provides leadership, supervision and direction to the Principals of SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools ensuring consistency with the Vision, Mission, Values and Objectives of the organization.
Key Performance Areas and Main Responsibilities:
- Develops long-term educational program plans to achieve program goals that enhance financial self-sufficiency of the schools.
- Monitors educational program activities for evaluation of program to ensure effective and efficient use of available resources forgreater impact.
- Supports to plan and execute Programs and Budgets of Schools and other programs.
- Provides direction to the Principals on policies, procedures, practices and services.
- Ensures compliance to Local, Provincial and National Regulations and coordinates with Government as well as community leaders and other stakeholders to perform vanous grant research and assist education programs.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Organizational Leadership and Management background).
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the leadership andlor management position.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability. accuracy. and attention to detail.
- Prog ram coordination experience, budgetary skills and accounting experience

- Holds high level of integrity and honesty, is confident and self-motivated.
- Strong leadership, team- oriented and high interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer application including use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Nepali language.
- Willingness to travel as and when required.
