Country Operations Manager (COM)

Job Purpose:

Involves the day to day operational planning and management, including safety, logistics, transport, overall training planning and delivery of specific sessions, managing volunteer staff, contributing to effective budget control and supporting the Logistics Manager for managing the Country Office premise. Will act as the link to Head Office with regards the operational delivery of the programme and events relating to it, including safety and security.

Summary of Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field (eg. Social Science, Social Work, Development, Peace and Conflict, etc.)

• Qualifications: Minimum 4 years working experience in managing or coaching or facilitating or supporting groups of at least 5-10 staff/volunteers; Strong project planning skills and a proven track record of project delivery; A good understanding and experience of international development and safety and security
