1. Post : Rural Health Practitioners; Position: Each for AWC Diktel, Bhojpur, Khandbari, Tehrathum, Taplejung
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant must be qualified and licensed as a Nurse in Nepal and should have preferably obtained Bachelor degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years practical work experience. Have good commands of both spoken and written in English.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate should have experience of practising as a nursein an international standard hospital/medical facility in Nepal, must be familiar with standard infection control precautions, be a team player, must be able to function independently but show the ability to identify patient needs above their knowledge or competency and escalate to the medical management for clinical assistance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be based in a GWT rural centre (along with other non medical staff) and act as first point of contact for pensioners for acute and chronic disease management in accordance of competency and policy.
The successful candidate should have experience of working in a hospital or community setting delivering excellent nursing. Should have experience of working with International standards of nursing best practices and have awareness of the challenges in achieving these in Nepal.
2. Post :Medical Centre Clinical Practice Manager: Position: One for AWC Kaski Pokhara
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates may be qualified as Bachelor of Nursing or any other allied health professional, registered with the appropriate body, have good commands of both spoken and written English, must be computer literate, fit enough to undertake responsibilities of the job, and a Nepali citizen minimum of five years of work experience after the first license.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in working in a clinical management role is essential. Working in quality assurance role is also desirable. You will need to be able to manage, teach and facilitate learning of nurses, CMAs and HAs and at the same time encourage them to deliver high quality healthcare to defined standards of clinical practice. In particular you will ensure correct use of medical equipment, cleanliness and infection control, good record management, etc.
Experience of clinic management and treatment of chronic diseases such as Diabetes, COPD, hypertension and elderly care will be extremely relevant for us. However the most important aspect is management and leadership skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible to manage the staff of the key Medical Centre and ensure high quality; patient centred care is delivered at all times. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the centre, managing procurement, appointment scheduling, contractors, staff rostering, promoting teamwork and collaborative learning amongst all the staff. You will ensure the correct use of the medical equipment, the information systems, be responsible for the quality assurance within the centre and management of feedback and complaints.
REMUNERATION
We offer a Competitive salary with Provident Fund & Gratuity. One month pay as Dashain Bonus and medical cover as per GWT-N Staff Regulations. The job is offered for 2 years initially and maybe extended to one final year. The interview will be conducted in English
